Slum School Solutions helps them to go to school & stay in school.
Slum Schools
Most schools in slums are formed by local parents, don’t get any help from the government, use rented shacks for classrooms, don’t have teachers who went to college, don’t have many textbooks, and don’t have enough toilets or sanitation.
How We’re Different
Most groups trying to help kids in slums build very expensive new schools or give scholarships. This is great, but it only helps the lucky few.
SSS wants to enable every child to finish primary school. So we work to improve the thousands of existing non-formal schools so they can meet government standards & qualify for permanent government funding. This way local communities can give all their children the quality education they deserve.
